The Community Festival is the largest single day event on the City of Whittlesea event calendar and is a unique celebration of our city and the people and places within it. Involving pre school, primary and secondary school students, along with community groups, disability groups, sporting groups, local performers and local business.
The Festival Program for 2010 is an eclectic array of colour, art, food, entertainment, culture and most of all our community. The Festival Program for 2010, put together by members of the community, will offer a huge range of activities and cultural events, with highlights including a Big Top, Youth Stage, Kid’s Arena, Sustainability Arena, Art and Craft Market, Community Arena, roving entertainment, art workshops, carnival rides, welcome parade and spectacular fireworks finale.
