The Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre is closed as of 31 October 2008 for redevelopment. We look forward to welcoming you when the centre reopens in 2010.
Facilities like the Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre play a vital role in contributing to community health and wellbeing, while also being a place where residents can meet, play, have fun and socialise.
As a result of various community consultations and feedback from residents, centre patrons and user groups, the Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre will receive a $17.8 million makeover.
This significant overhaul will create a modern, new aquatic and community recreation centre with a mix of facilities to support accessible fitness and aquatic activities for people to recreate, learn, improve their health and fitness, and socialise. The facilities will be fully accessible to people of all abilities.
