Adult Immunisation
Immunisation is not just for children. Protect yourself as well as your children from serious and preventable diseases. Read about Adult Immunisation by downloading the flyer from the RELATED DOWNLOADS box at the top right of this page.
Immunisation at Work
Immunising adults can reduce the spread of infection in the workplace, minimising the cost of absenteeism and maintaining productivity and morale.
Council visits approximately 60 workplaces in the Municipality each year, to protect workers with a range of vaccines. This program primarily operates from February to June, immunising people with the influenza vaccine. Other vaccines are available and can be arranged.
So if you are an employee, suggest workplace immunisation to your Human Resources Department. If you are a business owner, consider the benefits to your staff and productivity.
