Community Development Grants

Overview

Applications are now invited from community groups for funding under the 2009/2010 City of Whittlesea Community Development Grants Program.

Council will fund eligible community projects under five categories:

• Arts and Culture (up to $5,000 excl. GST)
• Recreation and Leisure (up to $5,000 excl. GST)
• Environment (up to $5,000 excl. GST)
• Community Services (up to $5,000 excl. GST)
• New and Emerging Groups (up to $1,000 excl. GST)

Information and support sessions will be held to guide the development of suitable applications from prospective applicants.

It is recommended that applicants attend an information session to register interest and obtain an application form and guidelines.

Applications close 5pm, Thursday 6 August 2009. Late applications will not be accepted.
