The City of Whittlesea has conducted an Annual Household Survey since 1997 that gathers demographic, behavioural and attitudinal information from a representative sample of households from all areas of the municipality.
The Annual Household Survey is conducted by the Sustainability Planning Department and is one of the most significant sources informing decision-making in relation to planning of service delivery, policy development and Council advocacy. The survey provides crucial information for the planning of services and facilities within designated growth areas and the redevelopment of existing facilities.
The survey objectives are to:
- Gather information about resident characteristics;
- Identify trends and changes over time;
- Canvas resident opinions on Council services and other issues;
- Assist Council in planning for the current and future needs of residents.
The survey Municipal Report provides an overview of information relating to the municipality. The survey Highlights Bulletin provides a brief summary of the main findings from the survey.
Municipal Reports and Highlights Bulletins can be obtained from the RELATED DOWNLOADS on the right of this page.
