A Plan for Epping Central: Results of the Community Engagement Program

Council recently completed the first stage of community engagement regarding the Plan for Epping Central Project. Between January and April 2008, Council discussed a variety of issues with the community, landowners and businesses concerning the future growth of Epping Central.  Participants were passionate about transport, housing, High Street and public open spaces and provided Council with an abundance of valuable insights and views.

The feedback received has been compiled into A Plan for Epping Central Community Engagement Program Key Findings Report which can be downloaded from the RELATED DOWNLOADS box on the right. 

Council will use the Key Findings Report and Melbourne 2030 directions to work in partnership with the State Government to produce a draft structure plan for Epping Central.  Council anticipates that the draft plan will be available for public comment at the end of 2008.
