Animals

A range of support is available for people supporting animals in bushfire affected areas.

RSPCA Animal assistance funds

The RSPCA has a range of support available through their Bushfire Animal Assistance Fund.

For more information please visit www.rspca.org.au or call (03) 9224 2222.

Wildlife food drops

Many native wildlife have survived the bushfires but their food sources are no longer available meaning many are now facing starvation or being injured or killed on roadsides as they search for food.

Wildlife Victoria is operating a free food drop program in fire-affected areas for wildlife carers, community groups and interested community members.

If you would like to register to provide food or to have volunteers visit your property to provide food for wildlife, please call Wildlife Victoria on 1300 094 535 or visit www.wildlifevictoria.org.au.
