A calendar of environment events

Council’s annual program of 20 environmental events has begun and runs until November.

These range from sessions on recycling, water efficiency, water tank design, buying green and avoiding waste, frog discovery and community planting days.

The program also has events celebrating World Environment Day 7 June and National Tree Day 2 August.

A major event is the Sustainability Homes Expo to help home owners and businesses learn about innovative sustainability products will be held on Sunday 22 November.
