Media Release
3 June 2009
First Impressions Youth Theatre group is launching its new show called 'TOMORROW', an adaptation for theatre based on the novel 'Tomorrow when the war began' written by award winning novelist John Marsden.
The group has been working on this development for over a year and the results are innovative and relevant for all ages.
The storyline follows the personal experiences and proactive responses of young people plus their rapid maturation when war reaches their country.
The performance is also a coup in being the first time John Marsden has allowed anyone to make a performance from his work.
It will be performed on 17, 18, 24, 25 and 26 June at 7.30pm, and a matinee Friday 19 June at 1.30pm for school groups, at the Epping Memorial Hall, corner High and Hall Streets Epping
Entry by gold coin donation and bookings needed as seats are limited, phone 9217 2174.
First Impressions is a locally based Theatre Group run by Council targeting two ages groups - 14-25 years and 10-16 years.
