The City of Whittlesea has a wide range of excellent sports, aquatic, and recreational facilities in the municipality. These include:
Meadowglen International Athletics Stadium
Meadowglen Reserve, Epping, offers an international standard synthetic athletics track. The facility caters for competition, school carnivals, little athletics and athletics carnivals. Memberships also available. The facility also provides a large function room for hire.

Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre (TRAC)
Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre is currently under construction. It is planned to re-open in Mid 2010.
Mill Park Leisure
Located in Morang Drive, Mill Park, this facility has an indoor 25m pool, a learner's pool, a toddler's pool and a spa, five program rooms and a gymnasium. The Centre provides a large hall for hire and activities including group fitness, older adult programs, swimming, martial arts, pre-school activities, holiday programs and much more.

Whittlesea Swim Centre
Located at 50 Walnut Street, Whittlesea, this facility has a heated and shaded 25m outdoor pool, learner's pool, toddler's pool, children's water slide, playground and beautifully landscaped surrounds. This is a fun and family friendly community facility with a number of events held throughout the summer.

*Early morning lap swimming 6am–9am
Closing time may be extended on hot days.
Swim Squads are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6am to 7am beginning 5 November 2009.
Lane hire is available to clubs and user groups for training and recovery sessions.

Tennis Courts
There are 10 tennis clubs in the municipality and numerous tennis courts available for community use. Club memberships are at reasonable rates.

Mill Park Basketball Stadium
Redleap Ave, Mill Park.
A four court fully accessible basketball stadium offers competition and practice facilities for ages and abilities. Featuring a main show court with a seating capacity of 600+ spectators.

Bundoora Netball & Sports Centre (BNASC)
Located on the Bundoora Campus of RMIT, McKimmies Road, Bundoora. Offering 4 indoor netball courts, 2 basketball/ 10 badminton/ 3 volleyball courts / 4 tennis courts / 3 outdoor netball courts / 4 squash courts / synthetic hockey pitch / ovals - plus fitness centre / gym / multi-purpose room / conference room / cafe.
Enter via the Northern RMIT Car park off McKimmies Road.

Epping Soccer Stadium
Located in Harvest Home Road, Epping. This state of the art soccer facility featuring four club change rooms, bar, kiosk and covered grandstand is available to the community for hire.
