Communications during Council elections caretaker period

With local government elections taking place this October, Council is entering into what is known as the “caretaker period”.

From Tuesday 17 September until Saturday 26 October, you may notice some changes in the way we communicate with you. This is to ensure we comply with the Local Government Act 2020 and that the election is conducted in a fair and unbiased manner.

While we will be continuing to deliver our business as usual services, during this time we will be limiting our communications across all our channels.

We look forward to returning to our regular communications following the Council election.
