Working for Victoria

The City of Whittlesea has partnered with the State Government on its $500M Working for Victoria initiative to connect people to jobs.

Council has registered around 260 fixed-term jobs, open to anyone who has lost their job because of COVID-19 impacts.  This includes people who have been stood down by their employer.

People registered on the Working for Victoria database can be matched to suitable jobs.  The City of Whittlesea is looking for roles such as outdoor workers, cleaners, social workers, counsellors, digital technicians, delivered meals drivers and more.  These roles will be based at Council or within a partner community organisation.

How do I apply?

Working for Victoria has partnered with Sidekicker to help connect job seekers and employers.  Our Working for Victoria vacancies will be advertised via Sidekicker.  To register for Sidekicker and receive notifications about opportunities at City of Whittlesea, and elsewhere, visit Working for Victoria.
