Terms and conditions - Water: community priorities for the future of Whittlesea prize draw

  1. Information on the website, survey and the prize itself form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Entry is open to all respondents of the survey. Employees of City of Whittlesea are ineligible.
  3. Only one entry is permitted per person.
  4. The competition commences on June 17 2019 and closes on August 18 2019.
  5. To enter, respondents must undertake the survey and complete the contact details section at the end of the survey.
  6. The winners are selected via random allocation and the winners will be notified immediately by email or telephone.
  7. There are 5 x $100 Coles vouchers to be won.
  8. The winners will be required to provide proof of identity when they collect their prize from the City of Whittlesea Civic Centre: 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang, 3752 (Melway reference 183 A10).
  9. Total prize pool value is $500. City of Whittlesea accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or alternative items.
  10. The winner accepts the prize at his/her own risk. City of Whittlesea will not be liable for any claim, cost, expense, loss or damage whatsoever suffered or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of or arising out of or in any way connected with the conduct of this competition or the acceptance of a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  11. City of Whittlesea reserves the right to redraw in the event of an entrant being unable to satisfy these terms and conditions or forfeiting or not claiming a prize. If a prize remains unclaimed on September 16 2019, a second chance draw will be held on September 17 2019, at City of Whittlesea, subject to any written directions given under applicable law. The second chance draw winner will be notified by telephone immediately.
  12. All entries become the property of City of Whittlesea. The personal information you provide in this survey will handled in accordance with privacy laws and Council’s Information Privacy Policy. In addition, the data you provide will be de-identified to further protect your identity. The information will be used by Council employees to improve service provision and may be shared with other local government organisations. The work will not however, be published as a formal research paper and will not contain any identifying information. Your contact details will be used to process your entry and to contact you in the event that you win the competition. Your personal information and the data collected will be stored on Council files and disposed of in accordance with the requirements of the Public Records Act 1973.
