Epping Recreation Reserve redevelopment

Epping Recreation Reserve is set for an exciting upgrade. The first stage of the redevelopment work is an upgrade to the Eastern Oval.

What's included

As part of the implementation of the endorsed Epping Recreation Reserve Masterplan, the Eastern Oval is getting an exciting facelift. Works to the oval will include:

  • natural turf oval
  • upgraded drainage system
  • irrigation system
  • perimeter fencing including a ball catching fence to the Southern boundary
  • centre wicket
  • perimeter walking path
  • coaches boxes
  • hybrid turf to high wear areas
  • 100LUX LED sportsground lighting

Project timelines

Construction to begin: January 2019

Expected completion: June 2019

Project cost

The project is funded by the Council and will cost $2 million.
