Laurimar Recreation Reserve upgrade
The west oval at Laurimar Recreation Reserve will undergo a significant upgrade from October 2021 including a new sports field and cricket wicket.
What's happening?
The upgrade of the west oval at Laurimar Recreation Reserve in Doreen will include the installation of new drainage, irrigation, a cricket wicket, natural turf surface, and an update of the fencing and coaches boxes.
The existing sports field lighting and electronic scoreboard will be retained.
Timeline
Construction will start in October 2021 and is expected to take 6-9 months to complete and for the turf to establish.
