Rochdale Square streetscape improvements

We’re planning to improve the appearance and features of Rochdale Square shops in Lalor.

We’ve created a draft plan based on what the community have told us they want improved.

The main things to improve include:

  • Creating an increased feeling of safety and better lighting
  • The look and feel of the streetscape, including more nature, colour and art
  • Making the shops easier to find and more things to do in the park
  • Safer streets for people and better parking.

Timeline:

  • Construction is expected to begin in July 2020.
