Detox your home

Council has partnered with Sustainability Victoria to host a free drop off event for residents to get rid of any dangerous and toxic household chemicals.

With summer holidays a great time to clean up around the house, many residents may have come across a range of common household chemical they no longer need. However, highly toxic chemicals such as cleaning products, pool chemicals and weed killer should never be put in your rubbish bin or poured down the drain. 

Residents can drop of these products, and a range of other household chemicals at the dedicated Detox Your Home event.

The drive-through drop off be will held at Council's Epping depot at 68-96 Houston Street, Epping, from 9am-1pm on Saturday 5 February.
