With an election coming up, it’s time to familiarise yourself with the City of Whittlesea election signage guidelines. If you are planning on placing signage  on private or Council property there are some clear guidelines you need to follow to ensure it is done correctly.

The guidelines cover off signs on Private property  (residential and commercial property such as shopping centres) as well as Council property (parks, public schools, local swimming pools, traffic lights, tram stops, local market stalls, train stations).

The display and placement of political advertising and activities is monitored and guidelines enforced in the City of Whittlesea. The requirements are outlined in the Election Signage Information Sheet with an easy to follow Political Advertising Signage guidelines table.
