Major facelift for Whittlesea Public Gardens

Major facelift for Whittlesea Public Gardens

Friday, April 03, 2020

A multi-million-dollar revamp is planned for the Whittlesea Public Gardens at the end of Barry road, Lalor.

The project, which will be delivered in stages, will bring the gardens up to major community and regional park standard.

We’ve developed some detailed concept plans and drawings and want the community’s feedback to help shape the final design of the new community park.

Concepts include a learn to ride bicycle track, water and adventure play, public toilets, barbecues and open spaces for events.

The project is jointly funded by the City of Whittlesea and the State Government’s Growing Suburbs Fund.

You can view the plans and provide your feedback until Monday 30 March – Have Your Say

The survey is open until Monday 13 April 2020.
