Mernda intersection reopens after road safety upgrades

The intersection at Bridge Inn Road and Sackville Street in Mernda has reopened after a major upgrade to improve safety and traffic flow.

The works included the installation of traffics lights, new asphalt, the realignment of the footpath and street lighting.

A temporary stop sign has been installed at Sackville Street until the traffic lights are turned on, which is expected later this month.
