Recycle for free at Wollert Landfill

Since Council's recycling processor SKM went into receivership and we were forced to sent recycling material collected from the kerbside to landfill, we've had people asking if there is anything else they can do.

For those who want to take the extra step to sort and take their recycling to a different place, we now have put in extra skips at Wollert Landfill.

You can recycling for free the following items:

• Glass bottles and jars
• Steel cans
• Aluminium cans, foils and trays
• Paper and cardboard

We understand the current situation is frustrating we can assure residents we are working hard behind the scenes for find a more permanent solution.

We are are still emptying your kerbside bin each fortnight.
