An interactive escape room experience, trivia and a photography challenge are among fun school holiday activities on offer in the City of Whittlesea.
Administrator Peita Duncan said Council had put together a program of online fun to give young people a break from their immense home-schooling efforts while in lockdown.
“Our young people have risen to the challenge of home-schooling, and our school holiday program aims to give them a break and a bit of fun,” Ms Duncan said.
Those aged 12-18 are invited to join the online escape room experience, called Isolation and designed and delivered by Melbourne Escape Rooms via Zoom.
“We’re holding two escape room sessions guaranteed to get your brain ticking and your blood pumping. Participants will interact with a real-time actor and work together to solve a series of puzzles,” she said.
Quiz buffs will enjoy putting their pop culture knowledge to the test at a trivia event, covering music, movies, television shows and general knowledge.
Photography enthusiasts can go in the running to have their work feature on the Whittlesea Arts website by joining the ‘Positive Image’ challenge and submitting a positive photo from across a range of categories.
