School’s out for summer – join the holiday fun!

School holiday fun is back for 2023, with City of Whittlesea’s Baseline for young people team offering a range of great activities and events for young people aged 12 to 18 years across three action-packed weeks in January.

Tuesday 10 January The excitement kicks off with a private movie screening of Avatar: The Way of Water at Village Cinemas Plenty Valley.

Thursday 12 January Check out a Pro-Skater Demo at Mernda Skate Park, plus barbecue, music and games.

Wednesday 18 January Beat the summer heat with some cool activities at Whittlesea Swim Centre, including our first ever Dragon Boat Tug-of-War in the outdoor pool.

Thursday 19 January Come along to our Trivia event at Mill Park Library – battle it out to become Trivia Champion and win great prizes.

Monday 23 January This day’s a celebration of summer in the Outdoor Splash Zone at TRAC, with giant games, DJ and much more.

Thursday 24 January Finally, level up your gaming with Game Jam. There’s an immersive gaming workshop, online games, plus VR gaming headsets to try.
