Traffic lights improve pedestrian safety in Epping

Traffic lights improve pedestrian safety in Epping

Tuesday, May 24, 2022

Council has installed much-needed traffic lights at the intersection of Findon Road and Maserati Drive in Epping to help pedestrians get to where they need to be, quickly and safely.

The $255,000 upgrade also included a new asphalt overlay to the road, realignment of the footpath, and line marking on the road and nearby walking and cycling path.

The traffic lights are pedestrian operated and are activated only when the signal button is pressed.

This project was supported by a $185,000 investment from the Australian Government's Black Spot Program.
