Whittlesea City Council - Extraordinary Vacancy

An extraordinary vacancy has occurred in North Ward within Whittlesea City Council due to the resignation of Councillor Ricky Kirkham on Monday 17 February 2020.

The vacancy will be filled through a countback of the vacating councillor's votes from the October 2016 general election.

Only candidates who were unsuccessful at the general election, and remain eligible, can be included.

The countback will take place at 10.30 am on Wednesday 25 March 2020 in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang.

Interested parties may attend and observe the countback.

The result will be published online at vec.vic.gov.au following the countback.
