Eligible Entrants 

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years of age and over.

How to Enter 

To enter, each entrant must, during the Entry Period: 

With your own personal Facebook account, post a comment on the Whittlesea Unites Facebook page with a personalised meme on one of the Create Your Own Meme campaign posts. Ensure that your comment is made ‘public’ when posting your entry, so it is viewable for judging. 

Step 1: Create or personalise your own meme/image.

Step 2: Post your meme in the comments section on one of the Create Your Own Meme campaign Facebook posts

Entries containing inappropriate content (including but not limited to nudity, violent images, disrespectful language) will be removed by the page moderator.

Limits on Entry

Limit applies of one entry per person per post. Multiple entries throughout the Entry Period will be accepted, provided that entrants only submit one entry per post.

Entry Period 

The competition commences at 09.01 [AEDT] on 19/06/20 and closes at 23.59 AEDT on 28/06/20 (“Entry Period”). 

Competition will run for 10 days.

Judging Dates 

Judging of all valid entries submitted throughout the Entry Period will take place at 9:00AM AEDT on 29/06/20 at City of Whittlesea offices 25 Ferres Boulevard South Morang VIC 3752 Australia. All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality. All entries will be equally considered. The best valid entry submitted throughout the Entry Period, as determined by the judges, will receive a prize. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from City of Whittlesea. 

Prize Details 

Prize consists of 1 overnight stay at Mantra Epping for two people, including two-course dinner (drinks excluded) and breakfast for two people. This prize is valued at over $300. The prize value is correct as at 19/06/2020 and is in Australian Dollars, but to the extent permitted by law, no responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for any variation in the value of the prize after that time. 

Prize Limitations 

Use of the prize is subject to the Mantra terms and conditions. It must be redeemed before the expiry date marked on the voucher.

Prize Delivery

The prize will be distributed to the winner within 60 days of the close of the entry period. 

Notification of winners 

The winner will be notified in writing via Facebook on or by the end of the entry period and the name of winner may be published on the Whittlesea Unites Facebook page as well as an e-newsletter distributed to all subscribed to the City of Whittlesea.
