Soccer Strategy

Learn more about our future plans for soccer programs and facilities in the City of Whittlesea.

Soccer participation in the City of Whittlesea has increased by 24% over the last 5 years. In 2017 there were 2416 registered players across 11 soccer clubs.

We have a strong soccer culture here in the City of Whittlesea and our area is ranked 9th out of 79 Victorian municipalities for soccer participation. Given the current and anticipated future population growth and development in the sport, there is a clear need for a strategy to assist in the planning and delivery of soccer within the municipality.
