Broadband internet access

Broadband internet access

Although we want to help our community gain better access to broadband infrastructure and services, we are not in control of the telecommunications infrastructure.

High speed internet access

To help residents frustrated with slow internet connections, we have given Red Train Networks access to our underground service conduits to install optic fibre cable.

This partnership means that up to 10,000 local homes not currently connected to the National Broadband Network (NBN) will be able to access high speed internet through Red Train’s affiliated Internet Service Providers.

To check if your house is eligible and to register, visit Red Train’s website.

Trouble getting broadband internet access

If you are having problems getting access to broadband internet or with your broadband service provider, you can find advice on the Australia Government's Communications website.
