In this workshop, facilitators from Psychology for a Safe Climate will lead a session where attendees will be supported to connect with one another and our planet through discussion. This workshop makes space for various feelings and explores how these emotions are part of a larger journey toward collaborative action.
Attendees will be encouraged to reflect and share with others both as a group and in small break-out groups. Weather permitting, we will also be heading outdoors to observe our local ecosystems for guided activities. The workshop will include practical tips on selfcare, including resources and actions that build resiliency.
Lunch will be provided, so please note any dietary needs when registering.
The City of Whittlesea Resilient Communities Workshop Series aims to up-skill community members in the art of sustainable, climate-resilient living and community-building.
Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions to be entered into a prize drawing at the series' end. Every workshop participant will also receive a certificate of recognition for their participation and have the opportunity to share their learnings and creations at the celebration showcase in November 2023.
