Description:: Due to the current lockdown restrictions, this event has been postponed. A new date will be confirmed soon. This is a free, contactless service to safely dispose of unwanted toxic household chemicals. Detox Your Home' events are now drive-through and contactless, supported by a COVIDSafe plan.

This service is for household chemicals only.

We don’t accept paint, fluorescent lights and batteries.
The maximum acceptable weight or size for any single container is 20 kilograms or 20 litres.
Decanting isn’t permitted, so bring chemicals in disposable, clearly labelled containers. If you don’t know what’s inside, label the item as ‘unknown’.

On the day, follow these safety procedures:

Put your clearly labelled items in the empty boot of your car or ute tray.
Have your confirmation email available for our event staff to confirm your Order number on arrival.
Only one person per vehicle can attend – you won’t need to unload anything yourself.
Drive-in and follow the event signage and directions.
Stay in your car and our trained chemists will do the rest.
Remember to follow all current public health measures at the time, including wearing a face covering and staying home if you feel unwell.
