Highlights

In this workshop, educator Maria Ciavarella from My Green Garden will cover the theory of home food preservation before the group breaks up to do some cooking in the kitchen.

Workshop participants will take home one jar of preserves per person with plenty of notes and recipes so you can continue to cook in your own home.

Due to class size limitations, the workshop will be capped at 30 people.

The City of Whittlesea Resilient Communities Workshop Series aims to up-skill community members in the art of sustainable, climate-resilient living and community-building.

Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions to be entered into a prize drawing at the series' end. Every workshop participant will also receive a certificate of recognition for their participation and have the opportunity to share their learnings and creations at the celebration showcase in November 2023.
