The City of Whittlesea presents 'Shaping the Future of Manufacturing' event

This free event will provide leaders in the manufacturing industry with valuable insights and opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainability. We are privileged to have two distinguished guest speakers who will share their expertise and knowledge with attendees.

Guest Speakers at the event:

1. Michelle Vincenzini, Senior Program Manager of the Digital Jobs for Manufacturing Program (DJSIR), will present an incredible opportunity for Victorian workers in the manufacturing sector. The DJSIR program aims to equip eligible businesses with fully subsidised, 12-week training courses delivered by renowned educational institutions. These courses cover a wide range of streams, including AI/machine learning, digital marketing, cyber security, and more. Michelle will explain how this program can enhance the skills of workers, contribute to their professional development, and drive digital transformation in the manufacturing industry.
2. Georgette Godbolt, Head of Sales at Sustainable Australia Fund, will focus on the importance of sustainability and how it can help businesses combat rising energy costs. Georgette will provide practical strategies that can significantly reduce overhead expenses while fostering sustainability within organisations. Attendees will gain insights into the environmental and financial benefits of embracing sustainability initiatives, such as saving substantial amounts of money in operational costs. Georgette will also highlight government-backed support programs, including Environmental Upgrade Finance, that can provide additional resources and funding for sustainable projects.
