Quality Area 2: Children’s health and safety
The Professional Development opportunity provided by the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Incorporated titled ‘Koorie Inclusive Practice Development’ – has been developed by Aboriginals with experience and background knowledge in early childhood for educators, within the early Childhood education and care sector, and directly relates to the VEYLDF, and the Australian Professional Teachers Standards 1.4 and 2.4.
This session will provide participants with knowledge, strategies, and resources relating to the engagement of Koorie children and their families, with a focus on how educators can learn Culturally inclusive activities to incorporate into their early childhood programs.
