Bruces Creek Recreation Reserve Master Plan

We have developed a draft Master Plan for Bruces Creek Recreation Reserve, located to the north east of the intersection of Blackflat and Wallan Roads, Whittlesea.

The Master Plan will guide the future planning and construction of:

  • a regional playspace
  • 2 x AFL/Cricket Ovals
  • 4 x competition netball courts with lighting
  • multipurpose community pavilion
  • practice cricket nets
  • 143 car parking spaces
  • disabled car parking bays 
  • open space and shared paths
  • community spaces
  • seats, coach's boxes and scoreboards
  • vegetation
  • proposed bridge over Bruces Creek
  • bus/drop off area
  • emergency access.

The timing of construction and delivery of the reserve will depend on a number of factors including community demand, need and cost.

Council will consider this master plan in its budget planning process.
