The City of Whittlesea acknowledges the ongoing social and economic effects of the pandemic on the whole community. In response, Council has developed the Community Recovery Funding Program which offers grants of up to $2,000 to support community groups to hold small scale community activities and cover essential equipment purchases and operational costs that support recovery activities.
The Community Recovery Funding Program opens on 10 March and closes on Sunday 15 May 2022 or when funds are exhausted, whichever is earlier.
Applications will be assessed at the end of each month (March – May) and applicants notified of their outcome shortly thereafter.
Applications are submitted through Council’s online grant application service powered by SmartyGrants.
