Meal preparation in the home

Council staff can assist with the following:

• Shopping for groceries – assisted
• Unassisted shopping for groceries – a list can be given to our staff member to do the shopping for you.
• Ordering online with your closest supermarket – staff can assist you to set up online shopping on your computer, tablet or smartphone.  You can select your groceries online and have them delivered or you can choose the ‘click and collect’ option.
• Meal preparation – our staff can cut up your ingredients, ready to cook.

You could also combine these options with delivered meals.  You can have a few days where you receive a prepared meal from our delivered meals service and have assistance for the other meals during the week.
