Epping Memorial Hall

Epping Memorial Hall is the largest public hall in the City of Whittlesea, and ideal for formal functions.

It is available for:

  • private
  • commercial
  • community group usage

You can make regular bookings or book on a casual basis.

All bookings require 2 weeks' notice and must be made by a person aged over 21.

Request a casual booking

To request a casual hall booking, complete our expression of interest online form.

Booking times

The venue is available for bookings at the following times:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am - 11pm
  • Friday and Saturday: 9am - midnight
  • Sunday: 9am - 10pm

The caretaker will open and close the venue for casual users at their prescribed booking times. The hall cannot be booked outside of the bookable hours.

Fees

Fees are charged at an hourly rate.

Casual user fees are as follows (valid until 31 December 2016):

Function Room

  • $1000 bond
  • $94 per hour

Main Hall

  • $1000 bond
  • $136 per hour (includes use of kitchen) 

Meeting Room

  • $100 bond
  • $16.40 per hour

We require you to pay the bond within two weeks of your initial booking, and pay the hire fee two weeks before the booking date.
