This 2-hour interactive workshop aims to give adults and educators the knowledge, confidence and inspiration to empower children with personal safety skills.

These essential life skills will help keep kids safe from harm, abuse, bullying and grooming. This program also addresses Child Safe Standard 3 “children and young people are offered access to sexual abuse prevention programs and to relevant related information in an age-appropriate way”.

Many abused children did not have skills they could default to in unsafe situations and defaulted to ‘freeze’ mode. Others innocently trusted their offender due to the nature of their relationship. Children need simple information and open discussions to help keep them safe from sexual abuse and any other type of harm.

Through storytelling, shared discussions, games and activities, adults can help children build skills, confidence and awareness.
