City of Whittlesea job seekers are invited to attend the Children and Families Career and Jobs Fair to learn about career and employment opportunities available in:

• Maternal and Child Health nursing
• Immunisation nursing
• Family Day Care
• Playgroups
• Early Childhood Learning

The event will include over 30 exhibitors consisting of:

• local employees in the space of early childhood education and health care
• City of Whittlesea teams discussing career pathways and job opportunities at Council including Family Day Care, Maternal Child Health, Playgroups and Immunisation
• qualifications assessment bodies where those with overseas qualifications can learn more about having their qualifications assessed
• resume writing
• RTO’s, universities who deliver the MCH qualification discussing entry options into the field
• Small Business Australia to talk to people about setting themselves up as Family Day Care educator
