Playgroups

Playgroups are a low-cost, informal gathering for parents, carers and/or grandparents with children under school age, which meet in a range of venues in the community.

Benefits of playgroup

Playgroup offers parents, carers, babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers a regular time each week to meet, socialise, share ideas, learn through play and have fun together.

There are both community and supported playgroups in the City of Whittlesea. The supported playgroups have a paid facilitator who looks after the day-to-day running of the playgroup.
