Support for pets of family violence victims
You can access temporary accommodation at the Epping Animal Welfare Facility for your pet if you are a victim/survivor of family violence.
The City of Whittlesea in partnership with the Cities of Darebin and Merri-bek has developed a Domestic Animal Welfare Policy to supporting residents impacted by family violence.
The policy allows for temporary accommodation for pets to support family violence victims/survivors in an emergency or crisis.
