The North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network have produced some videos to highlight the importance of getting vaccinated.

The message in English is: Getting the COVID-19 vaccine keeps you, your loved ones and your community safe. The vaccines are safe, effective and free for anyone in Australia. You need two doses for the vaccine to work properly, so remember to go back for the second dose! Together, we can keep everyone safe. Stay healthy, get vaccinated.

There are many mental-health related resources to help the CALD community.

The Family Recovery Fund
Culturally and linguistically diverse individuals and families in Victoria who have been significantly impacted by COVID can access case management support (with a focus on mental health recovery, education, training and employment) through the Family Recovery Program. Information regarding this program is available in 13 community languages. If you would like more info, please contact frp@cohealth.org.au.

We’ve created key message tiles in Turkish, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Macedonian, Assyrian and Chinese (simplified), for sharing with your networks, which you can download below. They contain the following key messages:

  • 'If you're feeling unwell or have visited an exposure site, get tested'
  • 'All Victorians over 40 are now eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine'​

  • You can also visit coronavirus.vic.gov.au/covidsafe-plan ​for an important message regarding COVIDSafe information translated in Arabic, Dari, Greek, Italian, Khmer, Korean, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Turkish.​
