Guidelines for Urban Development
The Guidelines for Urban Development represent an integrated sustainable planning, landscaping and engineering framework for the preparation of subdivision layouts and the creation of infrastructure as part of new developments.
For the latest Council standards and guidelines for planning, design and construction of new developments in the City of Whittlesea, refer to the Neighbourhood Design Manual.
The Guidelines reference a number of documents, including the Engineering Design and Construction Manual (EDCM) published by the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA), and do not override the requirements of the EDCM standards.
