Seniors Festival
Welcome to the City of Whittlesea Seniors Festival, a vibrant state-wide celebration that encourages active ageing, community participation and meaningful social connection.
The festival is a time to honor the important and diverse roles older residents play in society. We are proud to support the Victorian Government initiative that recognises and celebrates the contributions of seniors in our community.
This year's festival theme, “Connect, create and celebrate", emphasises bringing people together for social interaction and community participation. It invites older Victorians to discover new hobbies, skills, and interests.
From 1 October to 31 October 2025, the festival will feature events in various locations across the City of Whittlesea. From free to low cost events there is something for everyone to enjoy including tennis, walking football, 10-pin bowling, carpet bowls, golf, morning melodies and more.

This October, we extend a warm invitation to all our senior residents to enjoy an array of free to low cost to events, activities, combined with eight days of free travel for all Victorian senior cardholders from 5 October to 12 October 2025.
