Keelbundoora Scarred Tree & Heritage Trail Walk
Next date: Friday, 10 October 2025 | 10:30 AM
Join us for a significant cultural walk through the Keelbundoora Scarred Tree and Heritage Trail.
Through this heritage trail you can learn more about the significant scarred trees on RMIT's Bundoora campus. RMIT Bundoora campus has six scarred trees that are rare and fragile reminders of the resource harvesting techniques practised by hundreds of generations of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This gentle walk offers a chance to deepen your understanding of Wurundjeri Peoples relationship to Country, while enjoying the natural beauty of the park. Embedding an appreciation of Scarred trees and connection to Country, Culture and community.
A meaningful way to celebrate Seniors Festival 2025 and honour the wisdom of our Elders.
Light refreshments provided. Contact Ageing Well team on (03) 9217 2170 and select option 4.
