Expressions of Interest now open for Community Awards Committee

The City of Whittlesea is inviting community members to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) to join the Community Awards Committee. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the Community Awards for the next four years.

The City of Whittlesea Community Awards recognise residents who have made outstanding contributions to the community. These awards provide a special opportunity to celebrate individuals who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of others.

The Community Awards Committee evaluates and assesses nominations for the annual City of Whittlesea Community Awards, providing recommendations to Council for the winner(s) in each category.

The committee is made up of:

• one City of Whittlesea Councillor
• one member of the City of Whittlesea Executive Leadership Team (non-voting)
• a minimum of three and a maximum of six community representatives
• Award recipients from the previous year.

If you live, work, or study in the City of Whittlesea, you are encouraged to submit an EOI. This is your chance to contribute to celebrating the achievements of local community members and help shape these prestigious awards.
