Today is a day of Total Fire Ban and Extreme fire risk conditions in the City of Whittlesea. This means that no fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM today.
The ERC at the Civic Centre, South Morang, will be closed at 6pm today and any people who arrive will now be redirected to the Whittlesea Community Activity Centre.
A community meeting will be held at 5pm today at Seymour Sports and Aquatic Centre and livestreamed on the Mitchell Shire Council Facebook page.
