Lalor Neighbourhood House

The Lalor Neighbourhood House is a registered training organisation and neighbourhood house encouraging life-long learning for all ages and for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

It is a not-for-profit community-run association that has been offering services to locals for over 25 years.

Programs offered, including nationally accredited courses:

Certificates I to III in Spoken and Written English
Certificate I in General Education for Adults
Certificate I in Information, Digital Media and Technology
Operate Accounting Applications (MYOB)
Computer and internet courses
English language programs for people looking for employment.

Other activities include:

fully licensed occasional childcare service
after-school tutoring program for primary and secondary students
multicultural choir
support programs for community members and community groups
volunteer opportunities.
