Creative writing workshops
The City of Whittlesea is proud to present a series of free creative writing workshops this November with award-winning author Archie Fusillo.
Topics covered include Generating Ideas, Character Development, and Editing and Drafting. These sessions are perfect for writers of all levels.
About the facilitator
Local writer Archie Fusillo is an author of books for adults and young people. He was a secondary school teacher nominated for the Victorian Teacher of the Year Awards for excellence before writing his first novel and deciding to pursue a writing career full-time.

Workshop 1: Generating Ideas
- When: Saturday 8 November, 2pm-3pm
- Where: Galada Community Centre, 10A Forum Way, Epping
Workshop 2: Character Development
- When: Wednesday 12 November, 7pm-8pm
- Where: Janefield Community Centre, 2 Manchester Cres, Bundoora
Workshop 3: Editing & Drafting
- When: Wednesday 19 November, 7pm-8pm
- Where: Mernda Village Community Centre, Mernda Village Drive, Mernda
