Have you ever admired the beautiful plant illustrations in books or galleries and wondered how they’re created?

Join our experienced botanical illustrators for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of observing plants, sketching their forms, and bringing them to life with detailed, accurate drawing techniques.

All materials are supplied, and no prior experience is needed. Places are limited and registrations are essential. You can choose from three workshop dates - attend just one or join them all to build your skills.

Workshop 1 with Heather Simkin

Workshop 2 with Margaret Gooding

When: 10am - 12pm Friday 16 January
Where: Ziebells' Farmhouse Museum, 100 Gardenia St, Thomastown

Workshop 3 with Kate Nolan

When: 10am - 12pm Saturday 17 January
